Task
The idea in this fifth task of the webquest
is that you put together all the things that you have learned
when doing the quest. To find out what you have learned,
go over your answers to all the previous tasks, and compare
your initial opinions about ethnicity, cultural diversity
and tolerance to how you feel about them now. Your task
is to find a document that reflects your current ideas
about ethnicity, cultural diversity and tolerance. The
document can be e.g. an academic article, a government paper,
a film, a song or a website. The document can be some of
the documents that you used as source material when doing
this WebQuest, or you can search for new documents. Take
out your notebook or learner log, and take a look at the
previous steps of this WebQuest! When you find your document,
you should post it to the course workspace in Moodle (e.g.
as an attachment file). You should also include a short
(1 page) description of the document, where you explain
what this document is, where you found it, why you chose
this particular document, and also what you would like to
tell your fictional colleagues about the cultural diversity
in Britain with the help of this document.
Finally, please fill in the feedback
form of this WebQuest. After that, it is time to start doing
the other WebQuest or to write the final
report.
